Travelled down there Thursday in time to go out to the Hatchet pub of metallness, where host sprouts cocktail umbrellas from his head and we watch a bizarre puppet show punctuated with much tomato ketchup blood and exploding mannequins, then buzz off to the highly recommendable Mandrake, or SOAD-in-a-cellar more like. | dog amble back to Paul's where the dog plays Street Fighter before retiring to bed lulled by too much Bal Sagoth again. On Friday Paul's hair is fixed, and is noted to be turning to dreads a slotuion for which will have to be found. Out to the Bierkellar, April and I lurk together most of the night, set Andy on the trail of what we thought was an inaccessible blonde (what's his secret?!) and April spots a lovely fengal who's soon ensnared much to her delight. Podium dance to Pantera and Machine Head, good night for all methinks. |
