| Well, this couldn't be a webpage about me if i didn't include a whole page on who i am and what i stand for (even tho this is a very quick summary about how i feel...if i put EVERYTHING about my faith and relationship with God down on this page, it'd be neverending! :) ) So here i go: I'm a Christian and therefore God is # 1 in my life. I love him with all my heart!! I was born and raised in a Christian home, but made Christ my personal savior when i prayed with my parents when i was just a wee lil one at the age of five. Since then, my walk with the Lord has grown tremendously. He is definitely the most important person in my life. He is the reason i breathe, move, and live. Without Him i am NOTHING! (I LOVE YOU LORD!!)He has done sooooo much in my life and there is no way i could ever turn my back on Him or even think that He doesn't exist. My faith in God isn't about being a part of a religion. Instead, my faith is based on a RELATIONSHIP with God. He's not just some God way up in the sky, He's REAL and personal. There's a big difference between the two. I'm totally open with my faith in God and love talkin about what i believe. So if you ever have a question, you can totally ask me because i love talkin bout my God!! and i love hearin other people's views so dont think i'm gonna condemn you or hate you for what you believe, aight? :) ~~~~~~~~~ one of my fav verses: "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11 HE HAS AN AWESOME PLAN FOR MY LIFE! WAHOO!! :) ~~~~~~~~~ and one more of my fav verses: "Trust in the Lord God with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5-6 Trusting in anything or anyone is hard to do..but i have found this verse to be true....every time, i put all my trust in God and just give up trying to do things on my own.....everything smooths out and works out more perfect than i could ever imagine...So this verse has become more than a verse to me..it's become a way of life (or at least somethin i aim for - Trusting soley upon God) |
