Welcome to my art page. I used to have pictures of some baby birds and tigers and polar bears on this page. Basic photographs. now they have been removed to truely make this page my art page. I'll stick links to my photography in the links section. Most likely on my geocities web page.

1/ Work In Progress (and me)

A picture of me in front of one of my many works in progress, a nice 1.8 metre by 1.8 metre painting which will be a portrait of a Japanese Girl. You'll have to believe me on that one though. :-)

You'll notice this was taken when I had long hair. I have since cut my hair twice. Once with a Number 4 and once with a number 3. Pretty short. Since then I also gained and lost my gut. Well, it just likes to go up and down. Somedays it's bigger than others. Living off rice and water like I've been doing removd it. Hee hee. But I am eating normal food again, so it should re-appear.

2/ A Nude African Lady.

Still in progress as well, with about 10 hours left to go on it. It is done in the style of Durer after a painting done by TE Sheppard.
At this point I might shamelessly plug his book, as it's full of technique whichmight be indispensible to a young or old artist. It's called "How To Paint Like The Old Masters" by T.E. Sheppard. I was going to stick the link to the book at Amazon here, but Amazon is DOWN at the moment, so I can't do it.

3/ Serena Sleeps.

This one was exhibited at Darling Harbour at the Black Bird Cafe.

The main reason I called it Serena sleeps, is it looks like an old friend of mine names Serena. She didnt' actualyl pose for it or anything. I think this might be my mothers favourite, as she looked at it, and said she can't beleive how goo dit is. Rest assured, the picture doesn't do it justice. For one thing, it's ona slant ... I'm planning on re-photographing all my images soon.

4/ Sleep.

Simple title. One old flatmate once called it BLOBBY PERSON. She claims all my paintings make people look like blobs. Gees, talk about being critical. Then again, she never liked many of my paintings ... or me ... or anything else I did, so not really a great choice for critic.

(She also claims I am fat and ugly and women find me gross, and she claimed my girlfriends are ugly, and my ex-wife whom she's never seen was ugly. Told you she was critical! rofl).

If you like the pictures in either of my pages, (this one or the drawing page), then maybe you'd like to pose for a drawing or painting for me. I'm too poor at present to pay people to pose, so you will be doing it for either the enjoyment of it, or possible excitement of the picture one day being famous (though I doubt it! :-) )

Here is a list of projects:
1/ Crew for a spaceship. Don't get dressed as a wookie or octopus or anything, I'll get those parts done from my imagination. However, I am looking for people dressed as either mechanic (overalls) or pilot type uniforms. Male and female crew required. Any shape or size.
2/ Small asian female to pose holding large book (something looking BIG and RELIGIOUS prefered), with cape and hood. Try to look solemn and religious like. :-) Painting will have temple and Dragon in background, and the person in the picture will look like Elven Preistess. (don't be offended if you get pointy ears painted on .. .you will!) :-)
3/ Yes, I have been asked many times, would I do a nude of someone. Yes, I do nudes, as you can tell from the pages.
If you think I should do you, please make sure you meet these requirements - a/ Female, b/ good looking and c/ good body. I know it sounds sexist, but if I am to try to market the pic, it helps to have people I know I can sell the painting of. No offence is ment. Also, try not to look pornographic. This is art, not penthouse. (I know, that sounds a bit silly. But nothing GRAPHIC! please! I hope that makes sense!) :-)
4/ Actually, I am doing a Sci Fi type nude at present. Need a picture of a female asian from behind, and also pic from the front as it is being reflected off a spaceship window.
5/ Anyone dressed as a fantasy warrior sort. Any shape size or sex. I reserve the right to turn you into a monster or troll or human warrior or whatever I think will look good.
I have a heap of Fantsy ideas, so just send stuff in looking Fantasy Warrior like (think Xena, Hercules ... Boris Vallejo, Julie Bell type fantasy art). If you are unsure of who they are, try this link:

Dont' send anything which would breach their copyright though. This is about doing original art, not copying other peoples paintings.

Just please remember that these rules apply for any photo e-mailed to me (yes, please only e-mail them. You can't post them, because you don't have my address, and I can't be bothered sending the pics back.
I reserve the right to use or not use the picture you send.
It may take a long time to get to the pic in question. So please, dont' e-mail me everyday asking if I've done it yet.
Some other people may also send pics matching my request, I decide who's pic I use or don't use.
I can't afford to pay, so do not expect any money from me.
Any painting or drawing I do from the pictures will belong to me, copyright etc. The copyright on the pic belongs to whoever already owns the copyright (like the sender most likely). I am just using the picture you send with your permission. If you decide to remove permission before I use it, please inform me. I don't want any nasty lawsuits.
If I have already created a picture or painting from it, I will try to stick the picture on my website here (or else, if this one eventualy closes on my Geocities site).
At present I do not make any money from my art. Hopefully in the future I might. Anything you send (whether I use it or not) will be appreciated. I also dont' sepnd a lot of time on my art (not as much as I would like), so please do not be dismayed if things do not happen fast. If you do want to send a pic, then this is where you send it to:

In case of doubt, keep your clothes ON! (There is plenty to paint without people needing to strip down. Only strip down if YOU want to.)
