Another scorcher...

'
The Sellouts' played; a great opener to the night.
Then came 'Overdrawn' and 'Victim'.
Afterwards, 'The Rob Cowley Band' - a great exposition of local music - played a blistering set, amking way for 'The Astronauts'.
Mark was on fire, and the rest of the band tight and almost flawless.
At its climax, things went usually chaotics: smoke flooded the stage, and Graham threw his beloved Les Paul into the air. On its crash land back to earth, the head broke clean off. Andy, the fiddle player proceeded to clamber over the front chairs into the audience to give his violin to an unsuspecting fan to play.
We then left the stage, to a huge applause, and the night was ended perfectly by a wonderful set from local up and coming band 'The Bush, The Tree and Me'.

Afterwards, I really was showered with that whole complimenting thing; an ex-roadie from the 'Rolling Stones' included!
The whole night was a great experience - and if you missed Lol Coxhill on the Acoustic Stage you didn't see the whole night.
A first for local music, and a great experience overall.

Well, what am I gonna say?

Livestock 2002 was a great success, and all the bands that played - including The Sellouts and The Sindys - palyed brilliantly.
The Astroanuts played just before 'The Fish Brothers'.
Suffering from an unknown illness (!!!), I actually had to sit down throughout the set, only really getting up for the last song.
Because of Rob Hague (ex-'Smash') standing in for an absent Shaun, we played a different set, but went down just as well.
