A mix of abgry lyrics, thundering drum and guitar armonix, all mixed with some southern taste, amde Pantera who they are today.
They are one of the rare bands of this tyle that as alsted trough out all of the past decade and are still around to give us some. they pride tehmselves by claiming that every album they have done is always 'heavier" then the precedent one. The have released 6 albums. there most poular to date, Vulgar Display of Power, probably, becasue of the hit song, Walk. The follow up album entitled, Far Beyhond Driven, was the first "Heavy Metal" album to debut at #1 on the billboard charts.
Pantera have marked "hard Rock" history by being one of the rare bands that can balance there songs by being "heavy' yet not being too "heavy" wich is very hard to do without being called a sell out band, claiming they are too soft or just considered crap, because we can't ear what the singer is saying.
they ahve to be by far the best "Metal" band to have come out of that decade, wich is quite an accomplishment consiudering all the "heavy" bands taht had spawned out at the begining of the decade.
