Megadeth

rattlehead "Heavy Metal" was at ist peak in the 80's. Almost all we could hear on the radio was rock bands. Among all the bands being created, we found a few dark horses that weren't too popular among the media, Megadeth was by far one of them.

Megadeth lead by Dave Mustaine started off in 1985, after being kicked out of "Metallica." Mustaine had one calling and it was music, he struggle 2 years before being able to start his band.

In 1985, tehy would come out with "Killing is my bussiness and business is good" the recording was awfull and the record never ended up selling alot. It was good enough for capitol records to sign tehm to a contract that would last for ovcer 15 years.

Megadeth would rapidly make its mark as a speed metal band. The band lost lots of credibility due to the turmoil within the band, many members being fired and replaced. Plus Mustain's drug addiction to heroin, didn't help the image of the band.

Megadeth would reach its peak in the early 90's when they came out with "rust in peace" Mustain had finally found teh perfect regroupment of musician, including one of teh premier guitarist available, Marty Friedman, who would eventually leave the band for solo projects. Mustain would finally come out of his addiction in 1996.

Megadeth has now recorded 10 albums, incluiding a compilation called capitoil punishment, wich is a direct attck at capitol records showing the end of tehre long term relationship. Megadeth is going to release there 11th album in may. they have prooven to b the top speed metal band to come out of the 80's, being one of the onbly bands frrom that era to still be selling records and making money.
