The mid 80's would spawn one of the bands mostly know for there "rocker" image. GnR established themselves as an important rock band when there second album, "Appetite for destruction" came out. With the thundering guitar riffs of guitarist, Slash and the smart and arrogant texts of Axl Rose the album had an instant success.
GnR wouldn't bring out any other albums until 1991, where they would come out with 2 simultanious albums, "Use your illusion" and "Use your illusion 2." These two releases would make GnR one of the most popular band at that time. The sucess of "November rain" is still active today.
GnR would eventually disolve when many conflicts would acure in the band incluiding a fight between Slash and Axl for the song writting. Slash would eventually leave the band, forming his own. Axl regroiuped new musicians to restart GnR 2 years ago, that album is due soon. Many people are septical on this new album, will GnR be as good without Slash, one of the greatest guitarist of all times.
One thing is for sure, GnR as prooven to be a band that marked "Hard Rock" history and who knows they still might.
