| Dimiter's thoughts about piano teaching: "Each piano student is unique, and his/her teacher's flexibility is vital. One student just wants to have fun playing "Loony Tunes" or "Amazing Grace", another - a Beethoven sonata or a Chopin ballade. In the world of music there is enough space for both, and they both deserve the same level of respect and encouragement. I really enjoy the diversity of goals and abilities in my piano class, and I would hate to limit myself to only one way of teaching. What gives me a great joy is the feeling that I have contributed to the music sensitivity and knowledge of my students. In a nutshell, my piano teaching can be summarized by two ancient proverbs: "TO TEACH MEANS TO LEARN" and "A STUDENT IS NOT LIKE A POT THAT NEEDS TO BE FILLED, BUT LIKE A CANDLE THAT NEEDS TO BE LIGHTED" I strive to be a teacher who supports the individuality, and tries to help each student to fulfill his/her own dream in the field of music."
