Selling pianos is a relatively recent adventure of mine. Being a piano teacher and performer for many years, I have often been asked questions about purchasing an instrument. Like most of my colleagues I have been sending the interested students and parents to the local music store until one day I realized that I could provide the same service for considerably lower price. The reason is simple; retail prices reflect vendors' enormous expenses for rent, wages, transportation, climate control, insurance, and what not. In contrast, I arrange direct transportation from importer to costumer, and the instruments are regulated and tuned at home by a registered technician.This system helps each costumer save between 10 and 50% of the lowest retail prices! Needless to say, each instrument carries the manufacturer's and/or importer's warranty of 5 to 10 years. In addition, I provide my own warranty.
