| HISTORY OF THE HTS The original HTS was the Harris-Tessier Striders. Eventually the name became the Happy Throwers Society. This was the most powerful track club that Saskatchewan had ever seen.� However the HTS became defunct for a while.� Hammer thrower Mark Lowe tried to revive the HTS with a newsletter in the mid-1990's. This homepage is my attempt to bring throws in Saskatchewan to the levels of past glory. MANDATE OF THE HTS The goal of the HTS is to increase communication among throwers in Saskatchewan and to give all athletes and coaches access to high quality information.� We will work with established track clubs and school programs.� Our top priority it to increase the quality of throwing, the opportunities to throw, and access to quality coaching. |
