How could anyone believe that a laidback approach to the problems of our world, they will fix themselves? Problems like so many people thinking that there is no immediate need to remove a brutal dictator like Saddam Hussein; or if we back off, so will the terrorist. If you don't take care of a wound it may not kill you right away, but, if you ignore it, eventually it will be overcome by infection and kill you, and eventually is usually sooner than later.
A lot of people are saying that Iraq is costing us too much, and too many of our people are dying over there. The truth is, that a lot of people have died anytime that we have fought for freedom. As far as the money is concerned�How much is a human life or a thousand human lives or ten-thousand or a hundred thousand�? How much is freedom worth to you?
If you think that we are not fighting for our own freedom, then you are blind to the world. How many places in the world could Americans travel after 9/11? Few, if any.
It's true; we have our share of problems in the US. Our economy and lack of educational funding are two big ones. How can we fix these things and still fight for freedom and destroy tyranny?
One way might be to stop immigration into the United States, for all but those who are fleeing atrocities inflected upon them in there native lands, until we can create enough jobs to employ all who can and want to work, and enliven our economy.
That leads to another problem�how do we create new jobs? Manufacturing has all but left the US; American manufactures can't afford to operate here; it pilfers too much from their greedy capitalistic pockets. If the top executives in major corporations aren't making ten times more than they should, then they are not happy.
American corporations claim that it costs too much to provide healthcare to their employees. Why? Because their colleges, the insurance company executives, are also greedy; and are not properly regulated by our government.
This leads to the medical profession, where doctors are no longer health care providers, but, businessmen (and Women) with deep greedy pockets. They claim that they have to charge more for their services because the risk of being sued is costing them more in insurance premiums. Well, one thing that could help them with that problem would be to concentrate on providing quality health care instead of concentrating on getting filthy rich.
