| Dr. Divakar Dalela is the former Professor and Head of Department of Urology at CSMMU (formerly King George Medical University). Dr. Dalela is a practising Urologist for more than two decades. Dr. Dalela has won more than 30 medals and distinctions and has authored more than 20 books. He has written more than 40 international and ~35 Indian research papers and has made several original contributions in the areas of urinary stone disease, kidney transplantation, female urology, diseases of male urethra, bph and tropical urology. He has made more than 80 presentations in international and national conferences. | Dr. Dalela, has more than two decades of experience in the field of Urology. His clinical work experience includes more than twenty years of association with KGMU (now CSMMU) as resident, professor and head of department of urology, consultant urologist at Gandhi Memorial and Associated Hospitals, and two year stint with SGPGI as senior resident in Urology. Dr. Dalela, has extensive experience in endoscopic and open, emergency and elective Urological operations. He has trained several surgical faculty members of various medical colleges of UP, taught and guided many MD and MCh thesis, Phd program, and numerous undergrad students. He has successfuly led close to 20 honorary assignments, been the editor in different capacity of ~ 7 journals, compendium etc., been awarded two fellowships, and is the member of 7 international societies. |

| Dr. Dalela has written ~25 books out of which 18 are already published and remaining are in the press. He has written more than 40 papers in international journals and 35 papers in national (Indian) journals. More than 30 abstracts have been published in international journals and 8 abstracts are published in national (Indian) journals. He has completed 6 research projects and is currently leading 12 others.In his career, he invented numerous original techniques and innovative ideas in sub-super-specialities. His original contributions span across the areas of urinary stone disease, kidney transplantation, female urology, diseases of male urethra, bph and tropical urology.
