| Favorite Movies of All Time: Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas, The 5th Element, Happy Gilmore, Predator (1 and 2), Braveheart, Antz, Lion King, The Truman Show, Can't Hardly Wait, True Lies, Se7en, South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut, Pulp Fiction, Interview with a Vampire Tim Burton is my favorite director. His best movie was The NM B4 Xmas. Other favorites TB films of mine are Edward Scissorhands, Batman, and Beetleguese. I'm really looking forward to Sleepy Hollow. Not only because the last really good picture Burton did was Ed Wood, but mostly because he hasn't done a movie with Danny Elfman since Mars Attacks. For those of you who don't know who Danny Elfman is, allow me to intrigue you a bit on Music For a Darkened Theater. Danny Elfman is my all-time favorite composer. His music has an eerie, cryptic and yet beautiful essence to it. Some of my favorite soundtracks he has done are: The NM B4 XMas, Edward Scissorhands, Beetleguese, Batman Returns, A Simple Plan and of course "Danny Elfman: Music for a Darkened Theater" Volumes 1 and 2. Elfman's music takes up more than half of my CD collection and I strongly suggest you try his music out. I also recommend Marc Shaiman, James Horner, and John Williams. TV I really hate TV sitcoms. Lately with all the "Dawson's Creek", ""The Nanny" and other crappy shows like that....it's hard to watch TV without leaving disgusted and disappointed in our networks. I don't think there's any show I really like. But Cartoons, that's a different story. Still in the lead since the early 90's is The Simpsons. I love that show!! And coming up behind like a bull is my dirty mouthed buds of South Park. I know a lot of you think that show is sick and stupid, but I like it so BACK OFF! Matt and Trey rock! Not to mention the movie was fantastic, and the soundtrack was even better. The Family Guy is really good. But they keep showing the same episodes. There's also my good friends at Cartoon Network. And my other little favorites; Ren & Stimpy, Sponge Bob Square Pants and the PJ's. It's my hope that someday I can make some animated show too. That would be cool. |
