The SyNdicate was first formed in late 1998/early 1999 by DarkFox and johnnybravo. This being DarkFox's first clan, not much was expected from the early establishment, except for fun, fragging, and friendships. However, being that the mod was new, people were still getting used to the gameplay, and luckily DarkFox stumbled on some players that would later become a force to be reckoned with. SyN was, at one time, the greatest clan in Gloom. Such players as Fella, BoB, Death2All, Ryuenjin, Archon, Drakcap, MuteMode, and other amazing gloomers were once on The SyNdicate's roster. The SyNdicate soon found a rival in Dark Side of the Hood, run by weedhole. They also had very good players, as they began recruiting not a week after The SyNdicate had picked up its first members. SyN and DSH even had a couple attempts at a clan match, but server stability and time zone differences kept the gloom titans from ever formally playing against each other. Time began to work against The SyNdicate, with jobs and real lives getting in the way of the game, and eventually the clan crumbled and separated. Most of the remaining players went on to clans like {GZ}, [KA], and even [DSH]. So now we're back. 6 Years later, to take the gloom community by storm. And to try to breathe a little life, and some fun into this old mod.
