| Tai / Taichi Kamiya - As the leader of the original Digi-Destines, he leads the team through all sorts of events. His crest is the crest of courage, which fits him a lot. Tai has more courage than some of the Digimon, which can sometimes be a problem. But after Greymon digi-volved into SkullGreymon, Tai was so scared of making the mistake again that he lost his courage. Piximon helped Tai find his courage again though. Now once again, Tai is the couragious leader we've always known. |

| Matt / Yamato Ishida - Matt is the cool-type guy. He puts most of his thought into T.K., his little brother, and ignores the others too much. His crest is the crest of friendship, his weakness. He doesn't make friends with the others, especially Tai, very well. He usually fights Tai. Through the team's adventure, Matt learns his meaning of friendship, mostly from Gabumon. With the rest of the team as his friend now, he doesn't make too many mistakes anymore. |

| Sora Takenouchi - Sora had trouble with her confidence. She thought she could never get her crest to glow. Her crest is the crest of Love. DemiDevimon tried to trick Sora into thinking that she couldn't make it glow. But when she realised how she was treating Biyomon when she was hurt, just like how her own mom treated her. With the newly discovered power she had, Biyomon digi-volved into Garudamon and helped them fight Myotismon. |

| Izzy / Koushiro Izumi - Izzy is a computer geek. His computer is one source of his vast knowledge, but also, sometimes, a source of trouble. With the crest of knowledge with him, his curiosity can get out of control. Izzy always wants to know more about the digital world and especially the digimon. Once, when Izzy discovered a computer program on File Island, he activated Tentomon's ability to digi-volve, after he almost fried him though. |

| Mimi Tachikawa - Mimi is a sensitive person. She really dislikes fighting, even though she knows she has to fight the evil digimon. Her crest is the crest of sincerity, which she doesn't have much of at the beginning of the journey. Palmon is her faithful digimon. Mimi wants to redo Palmon's hair-do. With all those vines and leaves, it'll probably take a while before Mimi can find a good one. Palmon and Mimi have a lot of qualities that are similar, but their personalities can be quite different. |

| Joe / Jyo Kido - Joe is a worrisome person. He is very careful, but sometimes to careful. His brother Jim sometimes makes fun of him. Joe's carefulness, however, is easy to rely on when is comes to safety. Without Joe, the digi-destineds wouldn't be where they are now. They'd be in a lot of trouble instead of joy. Joe also helps out Ogremon when he was hurt. Joe wants to be a doctor when he grows up. Sometimes the others make fun of him. |

| T.K. / Takeru Takaishi - T.K., along with Kari, are the smallest of the digi-destineds. But you should never judge a kid by their size. Even though he's very small, his crest, along with Kari's is the most powerful. Their digimon can relate to that. When battling Devimon, T.K. and Patamon was the last hope for the team. Patamon digi-volved into Angemon to protect T.K.. Angemon used so much power to defeat Devimon that he turned inot a digi-egg. |

| Kari Kamiya - Kari is the newest digi-destined. She is very thoughtful about the others. She never thinks about herself, but only cares for the others. Her digimon, Gatomon, seems to be weaker compared to the other digimon until it digi-volved into Angewomon. Gatomon has a disadvantage though. Its champion form is only as strong as the other's rookie form. It doesn't make sense. Gatomon should be a rookie, and Angewomon should digi-volve is to MagneAngewomon. |
