Ghoul:

These creatures haunt graveyards, morgues and any other place rich with carrion. Lurking in the dark where the stench of death hangs heavy in the air, waiting to devour the unwary.

It is said that a ghoul is created upon the death of a living human who has tasted the flesh of other people or lived a life of exceptional wickedness and debauchery. Although these are probably just myths passed down through the ages

Appearance: This foul creatures appears more or less humanoid, but has mottled decaying flash drawn tight across clearly visible bones. It is mostly hairless and has a carnivores sharp teeth. Its eyes burn like hot coals in their sunken sockets

Strengths: A Ghoul is only has the abilities as it was as a human, but their bite carries many virulent diseases and if killed by one the victim will become a Ghoul themselves.

Weaknesses: Ghouls have lost all human sense of reason and are like junkies craving their next fix of human flesh. They rarely use their intelligence.

They can be killed by any excessive damage to their head or chest.

Lacedon:

Aquatic versions of ghouls. They used to be more prevalent several hundred years ago where they would lurk in reefs and wait for ships to crash into them.

Nowadays they are only really found in fishing towns where they prey on any fisherman foolish enough to voyage out at night

Ghast:

Seemingly identical to Ghouls in all but intelligence. Ghasts are much more cunning and tend to lead packs of lesser ghouls.

Lich:

Once they were human but they have used dark powers to unnaturally extend their life. Driven insane by the dark power they used to try and save their lives they are now not much more than undead witches and warlocks ever seeking ways to regenerate their youth because although their life is unnaturally long, they rot like a corpse.

Appearance: Gaunt and skeletal, with dry and withering flesh that has lost all natural colour. Bright pinpoints of crimson energy still burn in their empty eye sockets

Strengths: Lichs main strength is their vast magical abilities that have become twisted over time. Their physical bodies still retain the strength they had in life. They no longer feel pain as their nerve centres have shrivelled up and are inactive.

Weaknesses: Lichs are solitary beings and do not tolerate others.

They can be killed by severe trauma to the head or body but due to feeling no pain they seem more resilient than humans.

Wight:

Given some twisted semblance of life though their acts as a human. Normally extreme violence and evil acts.

They seek to end all forms of life but have not the means or intelligence to perform such acts so they pray on innocent victims in an attempt to fill the world with their twisted progeny.

They lurk in sewer tunnels and dark abandoned caves where they can hide from the light.

Appearance: Resembling a corpse. A grim reflection of what they once were. Skin grey and tight around their thin frames. Their eyes are wild and frantic with malevolence

Strengths: Just as strong as they were in life if not a little more so due to shear hatred of all life. If they slay a human then the victim will also become a Wight.

Weaknesses: They can be killed by any excessive damage to their head or chest.

Zombie:

Usually created by some sort by some sort of Necromancy.

Used as protectors and slaves. They are really nothing more than reanimated corpses with no real semblance of intelligence other than to follow orders

Appearance: Varies on the state of the corpse when reanimated.

Strengths: Zombies feel no pain and have no fear. Even severally disabled they will use every ounce of strength to carry out its orders.

Weaknesses: Zombies are slower and weaker than what they were in life. It takes severe trauma to the brain to stop them
