ROSE MARY

BORN                  20th January 1900 at Shepherds Bush, London

MARRIED              Alfred Claude Saunders on 30th April 1927 at St Mary Magdalene 

                            Church, Clatworthy, Somerset

DIED                     28th May 1989 at Horton Cross Nursing Home,Illminster, Somerset.

Rose Mary and her sister Mary were put into homes after the death of their mother during childbirth Rose Mary was in Bristol, at present location unknown, even though I have a photograph of the building with all the occupants. She was an 'inmate' from 1908 - 1914 when she left aged 14 to become a Domestic Servant. She also looked after the Poultry at Welshes Farm, Clatworthy, Somerset where she met Alfred Claude. At present I do not know where Mary was located but do know that the two sisters kept in contact with each other through out their lives. Rose Mary went to live with Mabel and Harry Evans. Mabel was a teacher at this home located somewhere in Bristol. She continued with her teaching at was Head Mistress at Clatworthy School until her retirement.
