What they're doing right:
Most of these blogs have better developed websites, pictures, colors,
and videos. My current web development expertise inhibits me from
achieving these levels right now. However, this will change.
They put stats and scientific info next when they mention forms of
training.
These other blogs are also generally written by people that have had
long term experience in climbing and know, for the most part, what
they are talking about.
What they're doing wrong:
Lots of the blogs don't come from a very personal point of view. They
try to stay objective and show the facts of the training and how it works.
This works for a scientific approach but it doesn't have much place in a
blog.
How I can do it better:
I can be much more personal and give a personal anecdoteof my experience
with training. This would give viewers more faith towards me as well as
help them determine which techniques they found on other blogs might or
might not work for them.
