~/home: technology and gaming news

This website was created with the intent of allowing me to take notes on articles I find personally interesting. The source of each article is included in their subfooters. The article subjects range from politics to computer security to gaming. The images are copyright-free and listed under the creative commons license. To gather the relevant information; many other news sites may be used; and the purpose of this site is aggregation. This is aggregation of many kinds - notes; videos; and most commonly articles. For the purpose of the initial school required project; I will keep this within scope of just article summary on an initial page, which is manually aggregated.

Future Plans:
A multi-page system; for when the initial page is overwhelmed by content. This would give an option to allow for larger amounts if needed; and will include a search bar for the purpose of reaching specific articles.
An automatic aggregator; displaying various related articles in a seperate page. This should be topic specific and I want to use some degree of javascript to choose relevance.
A section for smaller notes; intended to accrue small pieces of knowledge for me to revisit. I want this section to be separated by various visual bars; with an index at the top to reach each section. The topics covered will generally be lists; reminders; and other pieces of information made as useful as possible to people who are not me - a way to disseminate my knowledge in a way that I find fulfilling and validating but also functional and cohesive.

This type of project is hard to solidify and consistently return to; however I think it aggregates enough of my existing interests to create positive feedback. The overarching goal of improvements which I will plan in the future is to create a site which allows me to experiment with the use of various HTML, CSS, and javascript elements for the purpose of education and entertainment. Ultimately; I think this site will help me to centralize notes from various locations into one location; which allows me to properly integrate aspects of my life in a structured and persistent way. I look forward to using this as a learning opportunity and towards giving this a substantial effort.
