Why do what you do?

This website was created because of the massive demand for Minecraft content without an exclusive place to post it. Ever since the beginning of Minecraft back in 2009, there have been many different places to boast your achievements, ask questions, suggest features, discuss updates, and make videos for others' entertainment. The goal of this site is to bring all these things together in a central place.

Why not just use Youtube? Reddit? Other popular sites?

While those tend to be pretty good places to post Minecraft content, they don't have the advantages of specialization or centralization. Avid Minecraft enjoyers have to find different types of content from different sources. Moreover, larger sites such as YouTube have been slowly demonstrating that they do not care about their users or creators. As long as they get revenue, they will continue to make their site worse and worse until content creation is almost impossible and content consumption is much less convenient. Our site will always put users and creators first, without a regard to revenue as long as our business model is sustainable.

What does the future look like?

You may have noticed mention of Forums such as Reddit and wondered where those exist on our site. The answer to that is that they don't -- yet. This site is still a work in progress, and more great features are still to come. Stay tuned for updates and until then, keep mining and keep crafting.
