My name is Jake Bunton. This is my final project for Art Portfolio, and it is about the college years. It is mostly a gritty, nighttime aesthetic.

Chaotic Nature of College Life

For my final project, I captured the chaos of college life, balancing full-time school with two jobs. Most of my photos were taken at night due to my late work shifts, which presented challenges in low-light photography. I learned to adjust camera settings like ISO and shutter speed to create detailed, moody shots that conveyed exhaustion and resilience. Indoor photos also required creative lighting solutions to enhance depth. Additionally, I coded my own portfolio website using VS Code, which was challenging but rewarding, giving me full control over how my images were displayed. Despite the difficulties, I believe both the photography and website effectively reflect the theme of navigating a hectic college life.
