    • Banner is hard to read
    • Wasted space on right hand side while looking at patterns.
    • Pictures on patterns are small
    How I will defeat them
    • Have more than just crocheted items.
    • Use more than 3 colors on the site.
    • Use pdf links instead of full web pages for any patterns.

    • Descriptive and useful titles
    • Drop down menu on the navigation section
    Wrong
    • Too much white.
    • Lots of repeat pictures and links.
    • To get to a pattern, I have to click patterns, then explore patterns, then time stamp. Seems needlessly complicated.
    How I will defeat them
    • Use darker backgrounds on pages where people will spend more time.
    • Streamline the search process. Make finding things as easy as possible.
    • Use unique angles and avoid repeats on any project I photograph.

    • High resolution and enticing images on front page.
    • Patterns are super easy to look through.
    Wrong
    • Font is hard to read.
    • Not all pictures in patterns are high resolution.
    • Very long pages
    How I will defeat them
    • Keep things concise.
    • Ensure quality of photos, or at least put a disclaimer.
    • Use an easily readable font.

    • Lots of pop culture inspired projects.
    Wrong
    • Also has a lot of white.
    • Boring, though true, titles.
    • Lots of extra and unnecessary information on the pattern pages.
    How I will defeat them
    • Keep things concise.
    • Use darker backgrounds.
    • List patterns in a better organized manner.
