Alana
Alana is the founder of Felicity Dance Academy. When she was a child, her mom owned and ran a dance studio, so she is following in her mom's footsteps. Growing up in this dance environment, Alana has a strong passion for learning dance and has been dancing her whole life. In high school, she was on the drill team. Being apart of this team, she learned how to be a successful leader. Later on, she worked as the cheer advisor at Syracuse Junior High. Here is where she developed her love for teaching youth. She loves working with kids and wants them to feel happy while dancing. Her hope is to make dance class a happy experience your child looks forward to.
Shelby
Shelby is one of Alana's daughters. She enjoys music and being creative. She is involved with recording and editing the dance recital videos. Shelby is an assistant teacher and helps the dancers in dance class. When whe was younger, she also took dance at Felicity Dance Academy, and now has been teaching for almost 8 years. Her favorite part of teaching at Felicity Dance Academy is getting to know the dancers. Throughout the dance year, she forms a special bond with all her students and loves to see all their unique personalities grow. The progress the dancers make every week is very rewarding to her. Shelby helps instruct the preschool class and the junior team.
Siena
Siena is another one of Alana's daughters. Siena has always loved performing since she was a child. She has done countless musicals, and many dance recitals. Siena choregraphs dances for Felicity Dance Academy, and loves to teach the routines to the dancers. Her natural showmanship is a great resource for our dancers to learn how to be outstanding performers. She is able to make the dance routines fun and exciting to learn. Every week, she pushes the dancers to get out of their comfort zone and be outgoing by interacting with one another. She connects well with the dancers and makes sure everyone feels welcomed. Siena helps instruct the senior team.
