About Felicity Dance Academy

Felicity Dance Academy was established in 2010, and is located in West Layton, Utah. The founder, Alana Swenson, wanted to provide an inclusive dance environment that allows all ages of young dancers to learn the fundamentals of dance. The name "Felicity" means happy and our studio prioritizes the happiness of our dancers. We want all those who come and learn to feel excited in their progress. Felicity Dance Academy builds confidence through dance. Our positive environment allows there to be friendships among our dancers. It is important to cheer each other on in class.

Classes start the first Wednesday of September and end the first Wednesday in May. We have two dance recitals every year. In December, we perform in Sandy at The Festival of Trees. It is a great experience and a fun holiday tradition! In the spring, we perform at Syracuse Arts Academy. We want performing to be an enjoyable, stress free aspect of dancing, so we don't offer any competion teams.
