What my competition is doing right
A lot of the other competitor websites I have seen excel in different ways.
For example, quite a few of them focus on their sleek and user-friendly design. This
helps with a seamless navigation experience. Another thing I noticed is the concise content
they have provided. I also liked how a few of them added testimonials from their freelance clientele.
What my competition is doing wrong
Some common mistakes I have seen are spelling errors. It will be simple things like mixing up
"their" and "there." Along with spelling errors, they sometimes use excessive technical terms. I think
it is important to sound like you know what you're doing but, you can over do it. Other sites felt like
they lacked personality or they weren't super responsive.
How I can do it better
I plan on implementing engaging content that is clear and consise. I want to state call-to-actions
clearly and guide people visiting my site along to provide a better user experience.
I also want it to reflect me, as a designer by implementing fun colors and unique design elements.
