Hello! My name is Mykenzy Ford. I am a self-taught artist currently studying graphic design at Utah Tech University. I remember vividly when I created this painting. It was one of the happiest times of my life. I was celebrating 4th of July
during quarantine with my cousins (some of my favorite people in the world) when inspiration struck to create a colorful,
bold painting of this midcentury modern style house. I found the picture of the house on Instagram from the account @carlv12.
He posts photos of amazing midcentury modern style homes, especially in Palm Springs. I had been following his account for quite
some time, and finally decided to paint my take on one of his incredible photos.
