Wonderful heirloom bakery treats can inspire the sweetest of memories. The smell of nan's tea loaf recipe baking in your oven can take you back to childhood.
The problem is trying to locate the recipes for the bakes and cakes of yesteryear, as books are such fragile things, and baking can be so messy! Well, my baking, anyway...
So I have begun to compile this site. Creating an archive for all the recipes I can find, whether through old books or from people sending me their own recipes!
