At last I watched the Star Wars Episode I at GV Grand Megascreen. Though I feel a bit disappointed with the plot, I do praise all the specific effects they have used to make all the robots and creatures so lively and cute :) Thumbs up for DLP technology!

I just managed to pull out the clip of my Ericsson GA628 battery so that it can fit in the leather case - I tried so hard that the battery surface is torn a litte bit. I realized sometimes it may not be a good idea to push things to extreme...sometimes we may well leave things as they are. is already showing in US and actually surpasses The Prince of Egypt as #1 in the US box office this week. With the cast of Tom Hanks, Meg Ryan and same director/writer from Sleepless in Seattle, it will definitely be another big charm. Too bad it will only be shown here in early Feb 1999. I will keep track of Movie-Online so that I won't miss it.

After sowing seeds for 3 years and grew no flowers, I resort to a sunflower specialist for advice - I think she is a specialst as I started sowing seeds since the day I found her face. I realized that I never find any flowers as there are no buds at all! Probably it's because I never use any fertilizer - frankly I don't even water the soil - of course I shouldn't expect to see anything blossom! Maybe I should look for a cactus next time - oh I just remember that I got one as X'mas present yesterday. This time I will take well care of it.
Well, I promise myself starting this year I won't be the Santa Claus who climbs down the chimney to deliver presents at 6AM like the last 3 years =) (Actually I don't need Santa to lend me a hand - I should just do it myself :P) Instead I will spend more time with my family for the 26th peaceful X'mas.

Received a letter from my adopted uncle in China that my grandma passed away 1 month ago..just 3 days before my 26th birthday. It's not surprising as I ever dreamed of her dying before my exam in early Novemeber. I think she should have made her way to heaven at the age of 95. Amen.

Yes! I pray and pray and pray and at last today is a sunny day for my farm visit with mine and my sister' family. I'm really excited as the last time I went to a farm was in HK 5 yrs ago. First we went to the Vishnu Diary farm where we feed many cows and cattles and tasted some fresh milk, followed by a visit to the Aero-Green to see how to grow cruchy fresh vegetable in greenhouse without soil and pesticide. I tasted some fresh salad and confirm the vege is really crunchy!
Afterwards we proceeded to the Orchidville to appreciate the lots(200!) of variety of orchid nursed in a piece of 250-acre land in Singapore. We do have a great time, thanks to Benny the VP and his team for organizing this farm visit. BTW, this is the 1st outing of the newly formed CUHK Alumni(Singapore Chapter). I look forward to the next event as I am so happy to meet 'new' friends graduated from the same Uni as me!

I just received my exam result slips for the 1st semester of my MSc programme. Thanks God! I managed to passed both courses - actually I got one C and one A! Time to indulge myself with a small celebration.
