Suzan Upward

Originally from central Newfoundland - now residing in St. John's.

Susan is a graduate of the Environmental Studies - Environmental Perspectives Stream  (2001) at Memorial University of Newfoundland's Sir Wilfred Grenfell College- Corner Brook.

 As well, she holds an advanced diploma in Coastal Zone Management from the Marine Institute (2003).

Susan completed a work term with the Ocean & Sciences Division of the Department of Fisheries and Oceans St. John's NL in 2002, and as well has been involved with the initial planning committee of the Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society and is on the planning committee of the Coastal Zone 2004 Youth Forum Working Group.

 Currently she is working towards a BSc. in Geography at Memorial University's St. John's campus.

  Susan is an active member of a Royal St. John's Regatta rowing team, she also holds active interests in outdoor activities (hiking, camping) and environmental issues.

 In the future Susan hopes to secure employment in the field of environmental management or conservation.
