Sherry Glynn

For the Coastal Zone Canada Youth Forum 2004 Sherry is the Fisheries Sector Planner and web page designer.  Sherry graduated from the Marine Institute’s Marine Environmental Technology (3-year Dip. Tech.) program and has also earned a B.Sc Advanced degree in Marine Biology from Dalhousie University.  Sherry is currently working towards a Master’s degree in Fisheries Resource Management at Memorial University.

Professionally, Sherry has worked as an at-sea fisheries observer around Newfoundland and Labrador for the past four years, has worked aboard CCGV Alfred Needler during the DFO 2001 Southern Gulf of St. Lawrence Groundfish Survey, and has worked with the East Coast Trail Association.

Through Coastal Zone Canada Youth Forum 2004 Sherry hopes to promote current fisheries issues in Newfoundland and Labrador and how these issues form a critical component of integrated coastal zone management.
