Fansub Directory
-
This is a chart of some of the distibutors out there, with how much they
charge, and some of the videos they distribute. The distros that I personally
recommend are:
-
Kawaii Anime: She
not only distributes VHS but also CDR. Great prices and quality my
favorite distro so far!
-
Sekihou Gumi: Fast,
good quality and great prices. He's also willing to do mix and match
-
Sachi's distribution: quality
isn't as good, but the turnaround time is only 1-2 days! They also do their
own subbing
-
Angel's Anime
Heaven: Great place, large list, and the turnaround time is only 2-7
days
-
Note: I'm sure there are other good subbers out there too, these
are the only ones I've dealt with so far.
-

Phoenix, AZ
Shopping Guide
-
This is a list I made up for the Phoenix Metro Area. The formatting is
a little off, but I don't feel like trying to fix it. *_* But if you have
anything you'd like to add or you see any mistakes, let me know. ^_^

Usagi's House
-
A great place to buy original production cels. Lots of nice ones for good
prices. She also has a lot of Sailormoon trading cards and old, harder-to-find
pencil boards.
-
Drooling Anime Fan Sales
-
This place sells anime products/souvenirs at really cheap prices. This
place has a lot of stuff like posters, poker cards, stickers, keychains,
translated manga, etc.
-
Nikaku Animart
-
Great place with lots of Japanese imports, fast turnaround time. Check
prices on some things though, because you might be able to find them cheaper
elsewhere.
-
Anime Palace
-
Great prices on plushies and other toys. Lots of cute stuff, sometimes
you have to dig around their site to find something though. Lots of novelty
items. CD are pretty cheap too. Watch out for stuff like artbooks and cds,
I know some of them are not the Japanese copies.
-
V.O.E Anime Online
-
This place is a little expensive, but they have some hard to find artbooks
like CLAMP in Wonderland. Service is pretty good, and they tell you if
items are not Japanese made.
-
USAnime
-
Great place for pencil boards and other novelty items. Huge selection.
The prices are really good too. I've never ordered from them, but I saw
them at a convention and the people there seemed really nice. They didn't
mark up their prices either. And they responded promptly when I e-mailed
them.
-
House of Anime
-
Good place with a large selection. Prices include shipping, so they're
about average, not cheap or that expensive. Great service. Again, watch
out for items that aren't japanese.
-
Anime Castle
-
Pretty good selection, they have a lot of stuff including videos, DVDs,
CDs, novelty items, etc. Pretty much there's some discount on everything,
and they offer special deals that are pretty cool. You can win gift certificates
for writing reviews on the products.
-
Chinese Online Mangas
-
This place carries mangas translated into Chinese. Chinese mangas look
exactly like the Japanese ones, only in a different language. The prices
are cheaper than the Japanese ones. So if you know chinese or you don’t
care what language it’s in as long as you get the pictures, this is your
best bet.
