In the stint of five long years after high school, his only work then was an illustrator. Drawing is his only main source of income; teachers and his fellow students in high school are the only persons who gave trust in his ability, making teaching devices and all sorts of drawings they need.

At last, his mother's blessings and money was granted. He went to Manila to enroll at FEATI University (the school by the river) to take a course in Fine Arts Major in Commercial Art. But their support doesn't last long it is good only for one semester. There came a young executive, Mr. Oscar Villasis, and hired him as an artist in the company engaged in Optical Frame Manufacturing. Then there was born a young frame designer, the first ever in the Philippines that time.

He enjoyed working and studying during the night. His inspiration was a young girl named Lynda, who happened to be his co-worker in the office then later became his wife, the mother of his four sons and one daughter. The company collapsed due to economic situation. They are absorbed by another company who engaged in export/import of frames and sunglasses. It was MTC (Maria Theresa Commercial) under the young dynamic manager Mr. Jose Lim Ong.

The peak of his career as a designer stopped when one day he prayed he prayed to the Lord that "I'm bored, I want something new and something different to his life be with my family I'm bored to travel" The prayer was later answered. In the year 1999, Msgr. Tony Obea the parish priest of Pagbilao, Quezon asked him to design a "blessed sacrament" The offer was so different, an apostolate work.      Again, in the year 2003 another apostolate work came his way. His task is to re-design the interior of St. Catherine of Alexandria Parish. The job lasted for more than a year where he baby sits his first grand son while supervising the work in the church. Another task during that time was to illustrate the comic book of the story of St. Catherine of Alexandria and the history of Pagbilao. The author of this comic died of heart attack leaving with him the unfinished job, together with two projects, St. Ferdinand and St. Michael story. Proceeds of this comic were to finance the renovations of St. Catherine Parish.      When you work for the Lord, jobs are pouring like artworks, designs, T-shirt printing, drawings, streamers, mural paintings are coming in. This time the church was finished and it became a model in the Dioces of Lucena in terms of design and quality. Priests and church officials came to see him to re-design their churches. One of them is Rev Fr. Arnel Galeon who asked his services. He developed a good father and son tandem his accomplished artist who helped him paint the church. Among of their works are:Taguan Church in Candelaria Quezon, Blessed Sacrament Sacrament in Ponon Atimonan Quezon. Plus another job coming, the Panaon Church in Panaon Quezon.

His most lavish dream came true, it was a blessing coming from "Him". He gave thanks to his family, his sons and daughter, his son in law and his grand son and most especially to his wife, his partner in life. Above all, to the MESSIAH by the river...his strength in life that gave way to his apostolate work
