     Muriel married James Edward  (Martz--name change) Martin after the World War II ended.  They met through their parents.  Muriel was married to James Martin for 26 years then she divorced him.  Years later she met a car salesman through her son Douglas Martin.  Dayton Tosten and Muriel married years later.  They lived in Los Angeles, Encinitas California, then in Glendale Arizona.  Sometime in 1980's Dayton--Buzz, died during open heart surgery.  Muriel is still living in the house they bought to gather in Glendale with her three cats--Baby, Muffin, Cupcake.  She loves gardening and watching American's Most wanted, and Wedding stories.  She likes hobbies, currently she is into knitting.

Brief History of Muriel's life: 
     At age 16 Muriel  dropped out of high school to take care of her little brother Michael.  In 1947  Muriel  met and married James Edward Martin Sr.  During the 26 years of marriage they had six children.   Muriel  divorced James Martin and later married a car salesman who she met through her son Douglas Martin.  Dayton--Buzz  was a very nice outgoing man,  I liked him a lot.  The Tosten's  lived in Los Angeles, Encinitas California,  then moved to Glendale Arizona.  They had many happy years together.   In the 1980's  (Buzz) Tosten died while having open heart surgery.  Muriel had lost her best friend, she was over come with grief and to this very day she has never  recovered from this loss.  She is impossible to be around, she is always cleaning, gardening, or rearranging things.  Buzz's death triggered something in her mind and now all she likes to do is bad mouth people.  It is sad, no one likes being around that type of person.  I miss the other woman that was my mom.    Today Muriel lives alone with her three Persian cats, Baby, Muffin, and Cupcake.
