These are buckwheat hull pillows that I have made for my Grandkids. Click on the pictures to see a larger picture.

This is the Kid's basic pillow, which measures 13" x 16". This size is also a nice size for a travel pillow.

These are the Kid's Pillows with pillowcases I made for them.

The basic pillow casing is made with a zipper for adjusting the firmness by removal or addition of hulls. The cover can also be emptied for washing, if desired. The pillow can be placed in the sun for a couple of hours every couple of months to freshen it. The fabrics for the cover and the outer pillow case are washable 100% cotton to allow the pillow to breathe for the maximum benefit, since the hulls allow for air circulation. I prewash the fabric to remove sizings. I have made one of these for myself and I love it. I read somewhere that it is a custom in the far east where these pillows originated for the Grandmothers to make these for their grandchildren. If you'd like more information about these pillows, CLICK here.

I also make fabric gift bags, to give gifts in. They are fun to make, they leave no paper mess, and the gift recipients find all sorts of uses for them. Here are pictures of some of them that I have made. Remember to click on picture to see a larger version. I have sold some of the 5 bag sets on ebay, which was fun. If anyone is interested in purchasing bags, go to my Cyn's Corner website for more info.

Here are some pics of the dolls and outfits I made for them for Christmas. They really seemed to enjoy them!
