Natahala River Gorge

This a picture of the first  white water, about 1/4 mile below the launching area. Not much time to get ready. Last summer we where at this very spot. It is a very popular vantage point. You get to watch many folks take a bath, , most, unexpectedly

I had turned my back to the river and was looking up on the other side of the road into the forest. I was looking at what looked like a old road bed, it all most looks like a old log laying on the ground. It was then that I first saw the movement.
