The first meeting of our fellowship, Chinese Youth Group, was started in the mid June of 1989. Our objective is spreading the precious Gospel to the overseas Chinese young generation in our neighborhood.

The first two years weren't as easy for our group. There weren't always many attendants coming to the regular meetings. Believe it or not, there were only two to three regular people including the teacher in the meetings for more than one and a half years. Yes, it did seem pretty hopeless but God has his own timing.

As each year passes, more and more people came to the weekly fellowship meetings. Not only that, God has always provided the group with many faithful teachers. Each meeting has a time for praise, prayer, and bible studying. Other times, there were special fun and meaningful programs. There were also one to two retreats that every member looks forward to every year. God has certainly given this group a variety of activities.

Most importantly, He gave us a fellowship where everyone from all different backgrounds can come to know about His unconditional love. Anyone who has ever gone to any of the meetings can definitely feel the unity between the brothers and sisters here. The fellowship is actually like a "Big Family". No two words can describe our group better than that.

Over more than 13 years of history, God blesses us with numerous of grace pouring into our lives. All those people certainly have gotten something special from this group. It could be a lasting friendship with another member and/or even better, accepting Jesus Christ as their personal savior. As you can see, our fellowship has certainly come a long way, from just three people to so much more.

Since many of the youth group members are becoming older, a new fellowship for college students was established in January of 1997, and a career fellowship is also established in September of 2002.

For the original Chinese Youth Fellowship, it still exists. This youth fellowship will be especially for the younger brothers and sisters attending Junior High School and High School. Look how amazing God's plans are - from one group to three groups. Let all His children say, "Praise the Lord!"

Along the way, there were always new members added to our wonderful families. Each step they took, Jesus Christ was always there by their sides. Not only did the people learned that having fellowship with their fellow brothers and sisters is important, they also found out that a friendship with God is surely "one of a kind".

"How good and pleasant it is when brothers (and sisters) live together in unity." Psalm 133:1

Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes has eternal life. (John 6:47)
