CyclopticPegasus' Poetry

please keep in mind that i'm not actually this morbid, my poetry has no influence from how i think

Under the distant moon
She cries into a puddle of confusion.
A twisted tree stands tall,
Listening for her cries to end.
Beyond the center of the puddle, all seems clear,
All confusion is lost.
She swims past reality,
Into this so-called perfect world.
But, she soon finds out
That the puddle on the other side contains sharks of her worst fears.
She struggles to get back to where she once was,
But she couldn't swim nearly fast enough.
As she reaches the center of the puddle once again
She takes her last breath
And is pulled under, by her number one fear-
Water.

As I lay peacefully in the sand
Waves cover my  body
And my lips turn blue
As blue as a cloudless sky in early June.
Goosebumps take over my skin
As a light breeze passes.
I close my eyes
And tears lead themselves down my cheeks.
A light mist falls down
Upon my bare skin
Sending a chill down my spine.
I open my eyes to the roll of thunder
Fearing what is to come.
At the horizon, a bolt of lightening
Brightens the darkening sky.
I die.

okay, this isn't my whole poetry collection, believe me, there's more, but I'm too lazy to write them all out. I hope you enjoyed the ones that I did post, and if not, then screw you too :c)
