For me it all started at a Christmas Party. I was young, maybe 9 or 10. My friend and I found my brother playing Battle Cruisers online. He showed us the site and The Castle, I shurgged it off, but my friend explored a short while later.
One day I went to chill with my friend and found him playing Cyber Wars, I thought it looked like an insane game. I started playing under the name Mambo500(I was young) and my friend holding the name comicboys I believe. Those were the days of acid lord, Nulls(explained in my "History Of CGD" section!), choosing your own PW from the start! And nope, no battle thingz yet. I believe my friend got to the top 50 with maybe 400-500 PTS.
I rose to power slowly :). But then stopped for a year or so. When I came back I found the revised cyber wars(The one 99% of you knew). Since I never put in my e-mail, my old SN was lost. I started again on I think dragonskater! after maybe 50 PTS, I switched to HolySlayer2(I registered HolySlayer, but for some reason messed up the PW)I got maybe 500+ PTS and then switched to cobra33 and got maybe 300 PTS.Then I wasnt liking that name. Finally I switched to my favorite name, BlitzJoker!!! I'm not sure where I got the Blitz from, but I liked the sound of Joker in a name(I saw it in BossJoker). I didn't even know about a Joker Clan at that time!
I played all the time, and I, eventhough some people refuse to admit, I ran with the Gods. That was my prime, I played with all the top boys, Hass, NekoSabre,Sir_Gut, KoalaBoy(he was OK) and many more(I didnt even meat ZZ yet). Ahh the days of the touneys, It was soo much fun then. I played like that for I'd say 1 through 1 1/2 years. Although I didnt play all the time. I also pretended to be Sir_Gut's kid brother, it lasted for a while. But then he began to beg for my picture and phone #.....it ended there. I was at 1000 when I quit again.
I then quit for a bit again. I came back to hell as we knew it. Hackers, No more Gods playing. The game lost much of its fun, no more competiton. Then I met up with ZZ when he was flipping out about the Sabre clan being unfair or something. I played with him a lot. And always won ;). We played like that for a year or more. I got up to 2,000 PTS. Me and ZZ began to fight all the time :) and I remeber playing 6 Player games with him, song_flower, and another GM, teamed up against me and a few newbs, those were really fun games.
Then I played with ZZ, dx409, supamac(I believe that was his name) sparringly. Dx409 was very good, me and him would usually go into a 6-player, team up, and dominate 4 on 2. He was very much fun to play and chat with. Theres a kind of funny story about Supamac and dx409. I was bored and there was this couple I suppose fighting, so I made a comment to get them pissed and got them both to start dissing me. They were making fun of my spelling and my slang usage of words. They said that I was some kind of ghetto kid(these were very racist people, trust me) and stole TVs all day. Immediatly Supamac(whom I had never met before) jumped in and said he had my back, we chilled a lot after that. As for dx409, we were playing a game and this kid thought he was gonna start talking in black. He messed up and typed @BLQA@, dx was like @blqa@ whats up man...I found it quite funny, and decided to do it too. I met up with dx409 a few days later and we started teaming.
I then e-mailed Games Domain and asked if they could fix the bugs. They replied with the e-mail in the "E-mails" sections saying to play Yahoo games. Right then and there I knew Cyber Wars was doomed, a week later it was gone. Nothing for a long time, until ZZ asked me to make a site with him about getting back Cyber Wars and we did, up until certain things caused me to stop allowing him access to my site.
