Cyberport Broadcast Soccer Live at CyberPlaza

Hundreds of office tenants and nearby residents gathered at Cyberport's CyberPlaza to watch the live broadcast of two soccer matches featuring the Real Madrid team on 2 August and 8 August evenings respectively. With a gigantic outdoor Light Emitting Diode (LED) Screen, with screen dimensions of around 6mH x 9mW, CyberPlaza became a great place for soccer fans to support their favorite teams.

Over 100 people supported the first match, Real Madrid versus Dragon Team on 2 August while the second match, Real Madrid versus Chinese National team on 8 August drew more than 200 spectators. All participants enjoyed free ice-creams sponsored by PCCW. Most of the participants commented the atmosphere at CyberPlaza was fantastic. To some participants, that was their first time outdoor match-viewing experience.

After this trial, Cyberport would continue to organize similar functions in the near future.
