Cyberport Website Design Competition - Application

APPLICATION DEADLINE NOW EXTENDED TO 20 MARCH
2004
Sponsored by Cyberport, the Cyberport Tenants Club is now
organizing a Website Design Competition, with the aim to groom future
IT talents in Hong Kong. To fulfill this aim, professional training and
ample working opportunities will be provided to contestants of the Competition.
The Competition, divided into the Tertiary and Secondary
Sections, is open to all full-time students currently enrolled in tertiary
institutions and secondary schools in Hong Kong. Winners of the Competition
will be awarded with attractive cash prizes, summer internship at Cyberport
and above all, the design of one of the finalists may be selected as the
new design of the actual Cyberport website in the future.
Short-listed participants can attend free coaching and
training courses offered by "The Cyberport Institute of Hong Kong"
at Cyberport on the techniques and skills in website design. Final works
from the contestants will be assessed by a professional judging panel
comprising experts from the government sector, academic sector as well
big IT corporations. In views of the popular demand, deadline for application
has been extended to on 20 March 2004 (Saturday), send in your applications
