"Hey Will. What's up?" "I'm in love" Willow said smiling. "Really? Anyone I know?" Buffy said, thinking that it was about time Graham had made a move. "Yes. But, you're not going to like it...." "Why not? I like Graham. He's a good guy." "Graham?"Willow said, wrinkling her nose. "That clutzy thing? No way. That was a crush. This is the real thing. I'm head over heels." Buffy stared at her friend, disbelieving. "Not Graham? I thought you two were perfect for each other." "I want a man, Buffy. Not some goofy boy." "A man? You little witch. Graham is a good guy. Who is this man?" "You can't tell anyone. Promise me Buffy. Not even Riley. We want to start out slow and without everyone being mean to us." "I promise....on Angel's soul." Buffy said, adding weight to her statement. "Spike." Willow said, sitting back and waiting for the fireworks. She wondered how Graham was doing with Riley. ~ * ~ * ~ * ~
"So, where were you last night?" Riley asked, hoping that Willow had held her part of the bargain. "Man, you wouldn't believe me if I told you. I can't believe it myself" Graham said, grimacing where his friend couldn't see him. Why had he been stuck doing this? Willow had the easy one. She didn't have to look like a jerk. Thinking of WIllow made him smile. Last night, they had spent the entire night making plans. They had enlisted the help of her friend, Spike. To Graham's amazement, Hostile 17. He wasn't a bad guy and he seemed to care for Willow. "Meet a girl?" Riley asked, fishing. "No. A guy." "What?!" Riley's mouth fell open. "What can I say? I was caught in the moment." Graham snickered at Riley's expression. "What about Willow?" "That little girl? No thanks. She seems sweet, but sweet is not what I crave anymore. Man, last night was fantastic." "Graham...you're not gay" Riley said, not believing what was happening. Poor Willow. She's be heartbroken and it was his fault. "Didn't think so either. Who knows? Who says I have to decide yet anyway?" Graham knew he would never live this down. They had enlisted Forrest also just so that he would know it was a joke if he heard Riley talking about it. "Who is he?" Riley asked, knowing that he had to get Willow before she went through with it. "Promise you won't tell anyone. I mean it, Riley. Not even Buffy!" "Promise" Riley said, knowing he couldn't break it, even for Buffy. "Spike." Graham said, sitting back to wait for the explosion. "SPIKE!" ~ * ~ * ~ * ~
