Random Art)
Origami, sketches, and music... and whatever
else I find that doesn't fit anywhere else!
I've placed the gallery further down the page
so the buttons do not detract from your viewing experience. The text
below is also dark, for the same reason.

Underwear Avenger

-
Size: approx. 8" x 8"

January, 1993

The story behind the creation of this
one is rather funny. At the time, I was applying for college, and
some friends of mine and I were discussing what frat superheroes might
be like. Note the stick he's carrying - it's a Foot-On-A-Stick (tm)
for kicking a$$.

Gryphon Rampant
-
Pencil (#2, of course!) on acid-free sketch pad paper
-
Size: approx. 8" x 8"
-
1994
-
My first attempt at a Gryphon; I was
working on a design for the tee shirts for the Plymouth State College Medieval
Society. The Gryph never made it on to the shirt.
-
Sorry about this, but somehow, the Gryph never uploaded. He'll be up this weekend, I hope.

Fire In My Eye
-
Ink on notebook paper
-
Size: approx. 2" x 2"
-
1992
-
When I first met my fiance, I would
record some of my poetry with instrumental music in the background.
On the audio cassette, I would paste my own label. This was the "company
logo" I designed for my works.

Pencil (various graphite leads) on acid-free sketch
pad paper
-
Size: 9" x 12"
-
June, 1995
-
Sketched from a cat calendar, I thought
this cat looked almost prophetic... and like a cat named Sophocles.

I am trying to set it up so that the
song plays in the background as you read the words... in the mean time,
click on the link in the lyrics to get to the MIDI file.
