Westerland

Climbing Floribunda 10-12'

'Friedrich Worlein' x 'Circus'

Orange blend with a strong spicy fragrance. 20 petals on 3" blooms that are intensely fragrant. Vigorous upright climbing growth with large dark green foliage.

KORWEST : Kordes, 1969

Very hardy, highly disease resistant, vigorous grower. Blooms freely on both old and new wood. Loose slightly ruffled petals give it an informal and slightly old-fashioned look. Growth has been very impressive year after year.

Disease resistance is very good. Skipping your spray regimen will not hurt this rose at all. Cool weather brings out the softer blends of apricot and orange while hot weather deepens the color to almost solid orange. Winter hardiness is exceptional (which is unusual in this color class of climbers)! I highly recommed this rose to anyone who has trouble growing roses and to anyone in a cold winter area who longs for a hardy climber of apricot-orange color.

ARS Rating: 7.7
