Floribunda 3 1/2' Peachy-pink with strong old rose (damask) fragrance, Old-fashioned cupped form with 41-50+ ruffled petals, 3.5-4" blooms in large clusters. Mounding bushy growth with dark green glossy foliage. HARZOLA : Harkness, 1999 Peach is my favorite color and I carried 'Osiana' roses in my wedding bouquet. I have longed for a fragrant peach rose that would grow well in my garden and am thrilled with 'Victorian Spice'. The fragrance is a very strong, sweet rose scent not "spicy" as the name might imply. Color begins more pinkish and fades with time to become a more peachy color. The blooms have a charming old-fashioned ruffled appearance. Blackspot will attack but not severely, so an occasional dose of fungicide is beneficial. Blooms come in small sprays. Summer heat does slow down bloom production. ARS Rating: 7.8 |
