An appropriate rose for Valentine's Day, 'Timeless' is the answer if you are looking for a bouquet-perfect rose to rival those bought from a florist. An excellent cut-flower, it lasts up to ten days in a vase while holding its color and form. Its scent, not overly strong, is still delightful enough to subtly permeate a room.

Foliage is a glossy dark green. This plant is very disease resistant. I had quite a few problems with black spot and mildew this year with most of my other roses, but not this one! Not a speck of disease showed up on 'Timeless'. Aphids were my only problem and they were easily fended off with organic spray.

I highly recommend 'Timeless' to new growers and veteran rosarians. This rose is so elegant with its classic form and color, yet it is one of the easier roses to grow. (Maybe a good choice for first time exhibitors!) It was also one of my most prolific bloomers, out-performing my floribundas and grandifloras. It seemed to be covered in blooms everyday last summer.
