Hybrid Tea 5-7' 'White Masterpiece' x 'Grand Masterpiece' White blushed pink moderate spicy fragrance, large double 35 petals. Medium upright bushy growth with matte foliage. JACTRO : Warriner, 1985; AARS Winner 1987 Exhibition perfection is the hallmark of this rose. 'Sheer Bliss' has perfect blooms that are large and creamy white with a rosy-mauve edge. The distinctness of the pink edge quickly diffuses throughout the rose until it truly does appear to be "blushing" from the center. A moderate sized bush that is upright in the typical 'v' shape of hybrid teas. Stems are very thorny so beware when cutting. I can see why this is such a prize winning rose. 'Sheer Bliss' is an exhibitior's dream. Fragrance is pretty good as an added bonus to enjoy. Lasts well as a cut flower. Blackspot can be a slight problem, so keep a regular spray schedule. Very cold hardy as well. ARS Rating: 7.8 |
