Hybrid Tea 5' x 4' ('Peace' x 'Monique') x ('Peace' x 'Mrs. John Laing') Deep pink blooms, 58 petals with a strong sweet fragrance. Meilland, 1959 A prolific and frequent bloomer that offers strongly scented blooms of deep rose pink. They are presented individually on straight stems, which would make 'Pink Peace' great for cutting except that the blooms don't last very long. The plant is a vigorous grower and upright in habit. The large blooms can nod over on the plant. Blackspot will attack if not sprayed. Large and bushy in growth habit, 'Pink Peace' is best enjoyed as a landscape-type plant instead of being grown as an exhibition or cut flower rose. The large blooms are pretty and have such a sweet smell in the garden. ARS Rating: 6.7 |
