Winner of the prestigious Gamble Rose Fragrance Award, 'Fragrant Cloud' will literally knock your socks off as you walk by it. It is a nice compact plant that flowered very well in its first year.

Vigor is good with large, high-centered coral-orange blooms produced freely throughout the growing season. 'Fragrant Cloud' will have the deepest color in areas with cool summers. The blooms faded to a beautifully bright shade of coral in my area. Visitors always comment on its color and fragrance. I plan to use it in my own homemade potpourri.

I have been warned to keep an eye out for mildew, but I never had that problem show up on this rose. It did come down with blackspot, however, most of my roses did this year due to the abnormal amount of rainfall this year.
