Floribunda 3' x 3 - 4' 'Pinocchio' x 'Crimson Glory' Deep peach 3 -3 1/2" blooms in clusters, 23 petals, light fragrance. Vigorous bushy growth. Zones 4-9 Boerner,1949; AARS Winner 1950 Flowers are a lively coral-pink and are plentifully produced throughout the season. Blooms are small but have hybrid tea form with a slight old rose fragrance. Color picks up more pinkish tones in cool weather. Blooms are abundant and this bush is a vigorous, low-growing spreader. Blooms open quickly but 'Fashion' is such a prolific bloomer that there are always blooms to enjoy. Spraying for blackspot is a must but this rose is strong enough to bounce back after a bout. Looks best in front of the border and may also be a good candidate for container growing. Created by Eugene Boerner nicknamed "Papa Floribunda" for his many contributions to the class. ARS rating: 7.8 |
