Apricot Nectar

Floribunda 2'

Seedling x 'Spartan'

Boerner, 1965; AARS Winner 1966

Apricot with pink blend, cupped, double 4" blooms that have an intense fruity fragrance and are in abundant clusters. Vigorous bushy grower with dark glossy foliage.

Disbudding would have produced fewer but larger blooms. One of the first roses I ever grew and was my favorite for a long time. Reported to be a warm climate rose that doesn't like wet or cold conditions but proved winter hardy in our garden.

A great choice for containers because of its compact size.

ARS Rating: 8.0
